The Mountain View launch site is located on the grounds of the Mountain View College in southwest Dallas. All launches are conducted under contract with the Dallas County Community College District and are subject to the rules and restrictions listed below:
The site is limited to model rocket flights only with total impulse not to exceed "E".
Rocket weight must not exceed 16 ounces.
Rockets can be flown only as part of a sanctioned DARS Launch and with written consent of the College Administration.
NAR Low Power Rocketry Safety Code rules will be in effect at all launches held at this site.
Launches will be free of charge to all flyers and open to any member of the general public who is willing to abide by all rules and regulations required by both the DCCCD and NAR.

Directions to the field:
From the north:
Follow Loop 12/Walton Walker south from IH-30. Stay in the right hand lane.
At the Loop 12 - Spur 408 split, follow Spur 408 to the right.
Immediately after the split, take the first exit from Spur 408 to Illinois Avenue/Mountain Creek Parkway.
Turn left (east) at the 4-way stop onto Illinois Avenue.
The first traffic signal (6/10 mile) is at Duncanville Road. Go straight through the intersection.
2/10 mile past the signal is an entrance to the college on the left. Turn left (north) onto the college grounds.
Turn left (west) at the second stop sign. The field is on the left and the parking area is on the right.
