Saturday 26 May, 11am thru 5pm.

To reach the site from anywhere in the DFW area, get on I35 and head north.

1) In Denton I35E and I35W merge into just I35, head north towards Oklahoma.
2) Continue north on I35, through Sanger.
3) Take the Lone Oak Road exit, and turn left (west) and go over the freeway.
4) At the stop sign for the service road, continue straight ahead (west) onto West Lone Oak Road.
5) After about 0.8 mile, West Lone Oak will intersect (and merge with) CR-248.
6) Make a left turn onto southbound CR-248 and follow the immediate curve to the right, heading west.
7) Continue west (on West Lone Oak / CR-248) for about 1.2 miles, to the "T" intersection with CR-200.
8) Make a right turn onto northbound CR-200, and proceed about 0.4 mile.
9) Follow CR-200 as it curves left, heading west again.

About 0.4 mile after the curve, the Launch Site will be on your right (north of the road.)
There is a second fence-break entrance, turn right and proceed north into the field.

There is a farm house just past (west) of this entrance, you are too far if you pass the house.

The rocket shown above is the "Gargas Paradox". It was designed by Bill Gee (member and Secretary of DARS.) The fins and black nose rocket are taken from the club logo.
