Model Rocket Launch info for our flying site in Limestone County, TX (class-2 capable)

This is a trial launch, working with the dragway operator.

Another new launch site to try,
with GREAT Potential!

This site is southeast of the Dallas area, located about 20 miles EAST of Waco on hw-84.

Those of you that remember McGregor, it is almost as far out, but turn east at Waco instead of west.

Launches will usually start set-up about 9:30am
plan to launch between 10am and 4pm.
Please try to help pack up the range before you leave.

Bring out all your models:
Anything under an "H" will probably be OK.
(Although we will restrict altitude to about 2,500ft
for this firt launch.)

Limited class-2 With Prior Authorization!
(K and below, limited to our 2,500ft ceiling for now.)

On-Site blueroom facilities are available!

Driving directions: Head south from Dallas or Fort Worth.

[1] Use either I-35 south to get to Hillsboro,
continue south on I-35 to Bellmead about 27 miles.
[2] Look for eastbound hw-84, take exit-338A
go left under I-35, head east on hw-84.
[3] Hw-84 intersects with loop-340 (about 1.4mi.)
continue hw-84 east to split with tx-31 (~4mi.)
[4] Continue Hw-84 east to Prairie Hill(~14mi.)
Dont'blink, look for the Dragway sign.
[5] Take fm-339 right, south from Prairie Hill.
the dragway is on the right about 0.9 miles.

If on hw-84 you get to fm-1245 (toward Groesbeck)
you are too far east, turn around!
