Encompassing over 500 acres of cleared recovery area, our Windom site is “M” capable. Due to land sales in the area, our field size has decreased, this limits altitudes to 8,000 ft.

Directions to the field:
The Windom Launch site is approximately 1 hour north of Dallas, Texas. It's on the south side of Highway 56, between Windom and Honey Grove. The turn in is at the Wells Brothers grain silo right at the eastern edge of Windom city limits. The launch site and parking are roughly 1 mile off the pavement.
From Dallas, take US 75 north to McKinney. Just north of McKinney, take the Highway 121/Bonham exit.
From points north and west of the DFW area, take US 82 from Sherman to Bonham. Exit at Highway 121 and go south until it intersects with Highway 56 and turn left.
In Bonham, go east on highway 56. There is no turn, it's straight ahead at the light. Continue on through Dodd City. Windom is a few miles east of Dodd City.
Just as you leave the town limits of Windom, look for the Wells Brothers grain silos on the right ( south ). Turn right on the dirt road by the silos (county road 3415) and continue to the end of the dirt road where it intersects another road (county road 3410.) Turn left at the intersection. The parking and launch area will be straight ahead.
